Forbidden Tree:-

In the Bible, God forbade Adam and Eve from eating of the Tree of Knowledge.

Gen 2:16 And God commanded the man saying " Of every tree of the Garden you may freely eat

17 but of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Bad, you must not eat thereof; for on the day you eat of it, you shall surely die".

Eating the fruit of this tree would give them intellect making them superior to the other animals. God's warning "...for on the day you eat of it, you shall surely die" did not mean that they would die immediately, but that their IMMORTALITY would end; they became MORTAL.

The above story makes it very clear, that God forbade them from the Tree of Knowledge because He was allowing them -Mankind- to make CHOICES.

No one, even the serpent,  forced them to break God's instruction. They did it all by themselves. The Bible makes it very clear, that even after they were expelled from the Garden of Eden, humanity was still allowed the freedom to choose between doing good or doing evil, and thus bearing the consequences of their actions.

In the Quran, on the other hand, Muhammad's Allah PRE DESTINES humanity to do what he, Allah had already ordained them to do. They have no CHOICE. They have no FREE WILL.

Non the less, Muhammad's Allah - the merciful, & the compassionate - revels, gloats and enjoys watching his own predestined creatures being tormented in his Hell in the most painful manners to the end of time.

If the deeds of human beings are pre-destined, then there is absolutely no need for religion and hence no need for prophets, including Muhammad ***

2: 35        We said: "O Adam! dwell thou and thy wife in the garden and eat of the bountiful things therein as (where and when) ye will but approach not this tree or ye run into harm and transgression."

36        Then did Satan make them slip from the (garden) and get them out of the state (of felicity) in which they had been.  We said: "Get ye down all (ye people) with enmity between yourselves.  On earth will be your dwelling place and your means of livelihood for a time."

*** Muhammad did not understand the Christian concept of the "fall of Adam" and thought that Adam and Eve were actually thrown DOWN from a HEAVENLY PARADISE to Earth.

He,a Biblical IGNORAMOUS, did not understand that the Garden of Eden was on Earth and that Adam and Eve were thrown OUT from it ***

7: 19        O Adam! dwell thou and thy wife in the garden and enjoy (its good things) as ye wish: but approach not this tree or ye run into harm and transgression."

20        Then began satan to whisper suggestions to them bringing openly before their minds all their shame that was hidden from them (before): he said "Your Lord only forbade you this tree lest ye should become angels or such beings as live for ever."

*** The Biblical serpent was transformed by Muhammad into SATAN.

In the Bible, the serpent/satan approached ONLY Eve and NOT Adam ***

21        And he swore to them both that he was their sincere adviser

22        So by deceit he brought about their fall: when they tasted of the tree their shame became manifest to them and they began to sew together the leaves of the garden over their bodies.  And their Lord called unto them: "Did I not forbid you that tree and tell you that satan was an avowed enemy unto you?"

Al-Tirmidhi HadithHadith 96        Narrated byAbdullah ibn Amr
Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him)  went out and he had in his hand two books. He said: Do you know what these two books are? We said: Allah's Messenger, we do not know but only that you inform us. Thereupon he said: This one which my right hand possesses is a Book from the Lord of the worlds. It contains the names of the inmates of Paradise and the name of their forefathers and those of their tribes. It is most exhaustive and nothing will be added to it nor anything eliminated from it up to eternity. He then said: This one in my left  hand is a Book from the Lord of the worlds. It contains the names of the denizens of Hell and the names of their forefathers and their tribes. It is also exhaustive to the end and nothing will be added to it nor anything will be eliminated from it.

The Companions said: Allah's Messenger, (if this is the case) then

where lies the use of doing a deed if the affair is already decided?

Thereupon he said: Stick to the right course and remain as close to it as possible for one who is to be inmate of Paradise would end his life by an act befitting the inmates of Paradise, no matter what he may have done and for one who is the denizen of Hell, his deed would end on that which is a deed of the denizens of Hell, no matter what he may have done (before). Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) then threw the books and making a gesture with his hand said: Allah has made a decision about His servants (a section will be in Paradise and a section in the blaze).  Transmitted by Tirmidhi.

*** This story is extremely revealing on two counts:

First, even his generally illiterate and gullible followers questioned him about  the concept of PRE-DESTINY and found it unacceptable, irrational, unjust, immoral and questionable, as of course it is.

Second, the most important item in the story is, that it compromises the assertions by his later followers, that he was illiterate, since the only way possible for Muhammad to have known the extensive contents of the two books so as to differentiate between them, was if he could READ, especially since they were not 'revealed' to him by either Gabriel or Allah.

This was not a case of 'inspiration' but of definite reading and evaluating the information within.

The God of Israel, cannot be the same as Allah, the god of Muhammad; they are of irreconcilable characters ***
